My Story
Hi, I'm Aasvi, and I'm a high school student. In 2022, during the COVID lock-down I started Project Sooraj and hosted 3 donation drives with support from my friends and family.
We successfully collected 800kgs of clothes and donated it towards humanitarian aid in collaboration with Goonj NGO. After gaining newer experiences in the past 2 years, I founded Anantam Organization, which translates to Limitless in Sanskrit, to symbolize the endless opportunities to aid underserved communities.
Sabina Didi, a domestic helper, has increased her sources of income by establishing poultry and rice farms in her hometown, enrolling in LIC and becoming digitally literate. But Sabina didi is an exception, not a rule. Inspired by her, I initiated Project Shakti, which aims to assist rural women of India to attain the necessary legal documents required to open a bank account and ensure they have access to the welfare schemes provided by the government.
